NATIONAL SEMINAR ON “STRATEGIES TO IMPLEMENT UNITED NATIONS DECLARED IYC 2025”
The launch of the United Nations IYC 2025 has marked a historic moment, celebrating the transformative power of cooperatives and their pivotal role in advancing sustainable development. Leaders from around the globe recognized cooperatives as essential in addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges, both locally and globally. The IYC 2025 presents a unique opportunity to enhance global recognition, collaboration, and impact of the cooperative movement. Govt. of India, Ministry of Cooperation accorded top priority to IYC 2025 and wanted all stakeholders to initiate measures to organise different kind of events throughout IYC year 2025.
The Ministry in addition to the measures initiated, advised all the National Level Cooperative Federations including National Federation of State Cooperative Banks (NAFSCOB) to prepare a step wise annual action plan for) to celebrate IYC2025 throughout 2025. As a part of the annual action plan, the National Seminar on Strategies to implement UN declared IYC 2025 in Association with The Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank was organised on 18-03-2025 at “SHIKHAR” Training & Research Institute, Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank Ltd., Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
