FOREWORD

I am really happy to note that after NAFSCOB brought out the Manual on AIMAS there is sizeable improvement in DD business in cooperative banks and also more number of members have now joined this AIMAS Scheme.

However, in the last few Annual Workshops on AIMAS many member SCBs have been pressing for developing a common Cypher Code System by NAFSCOB.

Now I am glad to note that NAFSCOB with the help of a Cypher Code Committee and the Advisory Committee has finalised a common Cypher Code System and has brought out this handbook on Cypher Code System for the use by all AIMAS member banks.


I am sure, with this additional safety measure introduced by NAFSCOB, the cooperative banks will further improve the DD business to effectively compete with other banks and also contribute for better image building.
