THE BEST PERFORMANCE AWARD TO STATE COOPERATIVE BANKS UNDER ALL INDIA MUTUAL ARRANGEMENT SCHEME

The Board of Directors of National Federation of State Cooperative Banks Ltd. (NAFSCOB), in their meeting held on December 28, 1996 at Lucknow resolved to institute a scheme of Best Performance Award to State Cooperative Banks (SCBs) under All India Mutual Arrangement Scheme (AIMAS) and authorised the Chairman to constitute a committee to decide the Best Performance Award to SCB under AIMAS. Accordingly, the following committee was constituted as follows:

1.	Shri T. D. Janardhana Rao President, Andhra Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Ltd.	Chairman
2.	Thiru B. Kanaksabai General Manager, Tamil Nadu State Apex Cooperative Bank Ltd.	Member *
3.	Shri N. N. Joshi General Manager, Rajasthan State Cooperative Bank Ltd.	Member
4.	Shri B. Subrahmanyam Managing Director, National Federation of State Cooperative Banks Ltd.	Member
5.	Shri V. R. Phadke Dy. Director (AIMAS), National Federation of State Cooperative Banks Ltd.	Member-Secretary

Based on the recommendations of the above Committee, the Best Perfomance Awards under AIMAS have been awarded from 1996-97 to 2002-2003. The committee has recommended the Best Perfomance Awards under AIMAS for the following years as follows:
