As all the Cooperative Banks in India are well aware that after NAFSCOB launched the All India Mutual Arrangement Scheme (AIMAS) way back in 1965 slowly the State Cooperative Banks and then the District Central Banks and the Urban Cooperative Banks have become members of AIMAS and over the last three decades have built up a good rapport with each other and have also improved the DD business. Further, the sustained efforts made
by the Federation to mobilise all the operational problems, suggestions
for improvement of AIMAS etc. have really yielded good results and hence
the Federation was able to bring out a
Manual on AIMAS. In the last few workshops many SCBs were insisting on developing a
Common Cypher Code System as an additional security measure for DD
business under AIMAS. 1. Shri P. K. Soni, General Manager, Gujarat SCB 2.

etc. and the Cypher Code Committee has really shown their expertise and
skills in this area. We express our deep sense of gratitude and
appreciation to the members of this Cypher Code Committee and also for the
cooperation and guidance extended by the Advisory Committee more
